DANIEL NAILES, EMT
Lab Tech

184-img_9207-web1Daniel graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health Science.  Daniel is a multi-sport athlete in Cross Country, Track and Field, Tennis, and Badminton. He enjoys running full and half marathons, such as the Beach Cities’ Challenge.  At UCI, he was a part of Circle K International, Kababayan, Pilipino Pre-Health Undergraduate Student Organization (PUSO), Hawaii Club, and played for the Collegiate Badminton Club Team.

Daniel has always expressed a passion for helping others and wants to pursue a career in the medical field. He has had many involvements including medical internships at Kaiser Permanente’s Emergency Department, Pharmacy, and ICU and UCI Medical Center’s Obstetrics and Gynecology department. Daniel conducted research on the relationship between perinatal issues and the development of psychiatric comorbidities in children with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder for UCI’s Department of Public Health. He also interned as a student teacher for Davis Magnum Elementary School in Newport.

Daniel is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician from West Coast EMT and an experienced Audio/Visual Technician from UCI’s Student Center & Event Services. He aspires to become a Physician’s Assistant.
