Physical Therapist/Injury Specialist

Dr. Emmanuel Garcia entered the field following the completion of his Doctorate of Physical Therapy with honors from Chapman University in Orange, CA. Since then, he has developed an insatiable interest in movement analysis.  He believes that proper flexibility, movement technique and motor control are at the core of peak athletic performance as well as movement dysfunction and pain.  He has also grown to appreciate the patient-provider partnership as the key approach to alleviate pain, improve movement dysfunction in order to cultivate patient independence toward a pain-free life. Dr. Garcia is currently an adjunct professor at Chapman University School of Physical Therapy teaching Orthopedic Manual Therapy.

Dr. Garcia is certified provider in numerous soft tissue techniques, including Graston Technique, IASTM technique using Fibroblaster and Fascial Manipulation®. He is also the golf fanatic of the clinic, and is a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified Level 2 Medical provider. The TPI screen is a golf-specific full body assessment tool that is used to assess mobility and stability required for a pain-free golf swing. He is also a certified Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) provider.

He plans to expand his expertise by becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) within the next year of practice.
