Telehealth FAQs

Yes. We can bill directly to your insurance carrier as an in-network provider.

As of March 17, 2020, in response to COVID-19, California state agencies ordered to cover Telehealth PT and PT as an essential health care service.

Please note that, as always, your insurance carrier does not guarantee payment and any services not covered will fall to the patient’s financial responsibility.

We also have self-pay plans if you have an out-of-network plan.

We will provide you with a Zoom link so you can easily meet with your therapist face-to-face on your computer in the privacy of your own home.

Your physical therapist will assess your case and and will provide you with therapies you can initiate on your own.

No, not necessary. You will receive an email confirmation with instructions with a direct link for a video face-to-face session via Zoom.

Yes, it is the same. E-Visit is a non-face-to-face, phone call with your physical therapist.

We’d like to inform you that there was a policy change announced by the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in response to current events. CMS moves to allow digital communications by your physical therapist.

Telehealth is not a replacement for traditional clinical care. However, telehealth is a valuable resource for patients to receive continued care, when and where those needs arise.
