Corrective Exercises

Corrective exercises are a personalized program your physical therapist designs and teaches you, aimed at movement patterns that may be contributing to pain or injury. Our videos demonstrate the proper way to perform them.

What is Corrective Exercises?

Your physical therapist personally designs a customized exercise program for your specific needs and guides you through it. Corrective exercises target faulty movement patterns that can contribute to pain or injury.

Learning to do each exercise correctly matters. With proper technique, these exercises give you a way to manage pain without relying on medication, and correcting how you move may help lower the chance of future injury.

At KOH Physical Therapy Lab, corrective exercises are part of an individualized plan, often alongside other treatments such as shockwave therapy, kinesiology taping, fascia stretching, and cold laser therapy.
