Student Physical Therapist Clinical Rotations

Develop your clinical experience in an outpatient environment with exposure to orthopedic and sports physical therapy, clinical reasoning, patient care, and professional collaboration.

About the program

KOH Physical Therapy Lab offers clinical rotations for physical therapy (SPT) students. This is an educational placement, not a job.

Rotations are arranged with your program under an affiliation agreement between your school and KOH Physical Therapy Lab. Placement depends on that agreement and on clinic availability.

What you'll do

  • Work through real orthopedic cases with your clinical instructor, from evaluation to plan of care.
  • See how hands-on manual techniques and exercise work together in one-on-one outpatient care.
  • Build, teach and progress exercise programs, including home programs patients can do on their own.
  • Practice clear, confident communication with patients.

How placements work

Rotations are an educational experience, not employment, and placement is not guaranteed. They are arranged with your program under an affiliation agreement between your school and KOH Physical Therapy Lab, through your school's clinical education coordinator.
