Thinking about a career in physical therapy? See what outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy looks like day to day.

About the program

Undergraduate students interested in physical therapy are welcome to contact us about opportunities to gain exposure to an outpatient clinic. That includes students in pre-PT, kinesiology, exercise science, sports science, exercise fitness, and sports and functional movement.

What is available depends on the clinic and the time of year. Students looking for paid experience can also apply to work with us as a care coordinator/aide.

What we're looking for

  • A current undergraduate student, or a recent graduate, studying a field such as kinesiology, exercise science, sports science, exercise fitness or functional movement.
  • Professionalism and respect for patient privacy.
  • Curiosity about how physical therapy works in practice.
